Our organization is committed to providing affordable services to our students and families. TAP holds numerous fundraisers throughout the year which help us defray the cost of services and provide our students an opportunity to learn life skills. Many families pay for services out of pocket while others are reimbursed through insurance. We also take Low Intensity Support Services (LISS) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
We do not bill insurance companies. If you would like to request reimbursement for services you should inquire with your company to find out if our services will be covered. If they are, let us know how you would like a bill prepared so you can obtain reimbursement.
Cost of services
The cost of services is determined by the amount of staff required to ensure the safety of our students and the amount of preparation needed to deliver the services. Our therapies are well planned and require time to make sure everything is just as it should be for our students to learn from the activities.
- Social Skills Groups - $35-$100 per hr.
- Monthly Socials - $40 per session
- Individual Therapy - $75 per hr.
- Family Training - $100 per hr.
- Summer Camps - $535 for weekly camp and $225 for Travel Camp
- Aquatic Therapy - $40 per session
- Respite - $25 per hr.
- School Observations - $100 per hr.
- Adult Housing - $950 per month (includes all utilities)
Autism waiver and financial assistance
Funding can be provided through the Autism Waiver Program for Intensive Individual Support Services (IISS), Therapeutic Integration Services (TIS), Family Consultation, and Respite Services We also serve students from all Southern Maryland counties including: Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Prince George's and St. Marys. Please provide the student’s Medicaid number and coordinating agency when contacting us about services.
